HOW TO DISABLE A USER IN IKONOPEDIA

You must have Admin Role privileges to access the user editor tool.
Not all admin role users will have privileges to the user editor tool.

If you feel that you should require access, please speak to your administrator, and/or enter a case with Ikonopedia Support by emailing:   support@ikonopedia.com

NOTE: We do not recommend deleting a user. This can alter Analytic Reports for Radiologists and Techs.

To disable a user please follow the process below

Step 1.
Login into Ikonopedia with your ADMIN role.

Step 2.
Click on the USER EDITOR tab.

Step 3.
Here you can use the “Filter” search field to find the user that needs to be disabled.

Step 4.
Click on the user and you will see “User Lockout” at the bottom of page, under the phone field. Click on the lock button

Step 5.

Set the YEAR to 2099 or a number that you feel that is appropriate.

You should see a RED Unlock Button now. This means that the user is locked out of Ikonopedia. To unlock the user, simply click on the unlock button.

This completes the process on how to disable a user. Should the user attempt to logon, the user will receive the following message such as in the screenshot below.
“This account is locked out for approximately ##### more minutes. Please contact your administrator with any questions.”
