Release Notes: Q2 2021

We are pleased to announce a new software release with multiple new features and fixes:
  1. New Hologic® Device Options
  2. New Marker/Clip Device Button
  3. Additional Diagnostic Mammogram Distribution Buttons
  4. Resolution Manager - BIRADS Indicator
  5. New Admin Report – ‘All exams with no tech assignment’
  6. Additional Fixes and Performance Improvements

Biopsy Module

New Hologic® Device Options

The device details list now has an option to select Hologic® Sertera® 12g and Hologic® Sertera® 14g



New Marker/Clip Device Button

A new Device button has been added for Marker/Clip placement procedures.  This allows the reporting of Marker/Clip placement procedures to follow the same reporting practice of other procedures by using the Imaging Assist, Device, and Biopsy Marker selectors.



The following selections would output text on the report as: “MRI-Guided Top Hat-Shaped marker placement.”


Mammogram Module

Diagnostic Mammogram Distribution Buttons Moved to Top-Level
Additional distribution buttons, previously located in a slide-out, have been moved to the top-level diagnostic mammogram page for Benign and Suspicious Calcifications: Segmental, Linear, Grouped, Regional, and Diffuse

Resolution Manager

BIRADS Indicator

A BIRADS indicator has been added at the top-level when selecting an exam to resolve.  This BIRADS icon will help identify the appropriate exam for adding pathology and resolution.

Admin Reports

New Report: ‘All exams with no tech assignment’

This new report will show all exams, within the selected date range, that have no tech assignments listed.  This report can be found in the Admin Reports module by selecting Custom Reports – Miscellaneous – All exam with no tech assignment.

Additional Fixes and Performance Improvements

As always, we continue to improve Ikonopedia to provide our customers with the best experience in application performance and design.  This release also includes some additional fixes and performance improvements.
